The least visible things may often be the most powerful. The degree of trust we have in people and institutions around us is a powerful quality of life indicator. By mapping trust at a local, neighbourhood scale, we are working on providing a critical indicator that tells local leaders if their common life is getting better or deteriorating. The sooner we can see this invisible dynamic, the greater our chance of doing the things that can build trust.
