My first Coursera course was a Johns Hopkins Data Analysis course with Jeff Leek and Roger Pen back in 2013. It was challenging and interesting because I was trying to figure out R while learning the content of the course. I was also teaching at the time and wanted to explore what a MOOC was like from a student standpoint. Across all fronts, a very valuable and useful course.
